Meet the Team
Matt co-founded MBP in 2011 and has a wealth of experience having worked in production for over 18 years.
On top of being the Chief Drone Pilot at MBP, he’s also extended his skills to become offshore certified and he’s always ready for a hazardous location (any excuse to wear a hardhat!).
In his spare time he shoots fashion, with images having graced front covers and spreads in Vogue Italia and The Guardian.
Scott co-founded MBP in 2011 after a successful 20-year career as a full-time professional football player.
Heading up our sales, he uses his striker tactics to keep clients updated on all things MBP.
A natural leader (both on and off the pitch) he keeps the team up-beat and moving forward… we’re even learning a bit about the offside rule!
With a background in Operations Management (via a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing, obviously), Emerson joined MBP in August 2020 as our Operational Coordinator.
Emerson oversees our financial data and compliance with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and transparency.
He enjoys numbers and letters, yet dislikes algebra. Go figure.
Gareth has been in the Scottish creative industry for over thirty years. He’s created memorable and global award winning campaigns for Scottish fabric brands like Irn-Bru, Tennent’s lager and the Scottish Government.
He was part of the team to bring Honda and Honda Motor Europe to Scotland , a world first. Gareth was one of the founding partners and Executive Creative Director and then New Business Director in the highly successful Communications agency Newhaven.
He’s also a D&AD member and judge.
After graduating with a degree in Anthropology and International Relations, Piers started working in film & TV — something he’d always wanted to do, despite the unusual degree. He eventually joining MBP in 2023.
With experience working in a variety of positions on a variety of projects, ranging from feature films to music videos, Piers’ focus is on cinematography, making all of MBP’s projects look as good as possible, no matter the budget.
Laura joined the MBP team in 2022.With two degrees in Film and Visual Arts, she likes to make things happen with a keen eye on details.
As producer and director, if someone has a vision, she follows it – like Alice the white rabbit. When she is not organising productions or directing, you can find her with a book or two in her hands or watching some Asian movies.
Lukas graduated in Film and Visual Culture at the University of Aberdeen, with a passion for visual art, still and moving pictures.
While studying, Lukas gained a meaningful insight into visual art however, most of the things he does now, were learned through self-exploration and experimenting.
Lukas has experience in photography, film-making, editing and performing in front of the camera as well.
In his spare time he loves exploring outdoors, practicing Chinese martial Kung-Fu and traveling the world.
Jesus is a Spanish video editor and motion graphic designer from Seville, based in Edinburgh. He studied Film and TV at Edinburgh University, and previously graduated from Edinburgh college in Audio-visual technology.
While studying, he did freelance filming and directing, and edited music videos. However, before he started studying he always knew he wanted to be an editor.
In his spare time, Jesus enjoys going to the cinema, theatre, and concerts. He also loves traveling, cooking, and playing board games.
After graduating from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking and winning three RTS awards for her grad film, Sizzle, May worked as a TV Editor for CBBC.
In addition to video editing, she also enjoys sound editing and sound design. In her free time, you’ll find her writing, drawing, or exploring. Like Bilbo Baggins, May loves going on an adventure!
Having grown up in over eight countries, and being half English and half Vietnamese, May is used to relocating as well as experiencing an array of cultures. But this time, she has found a home she can’t imagine leaving: Scotland.
Kae is a freelance designer whose work spans graphics, web design, copywriting and styling.
With a background in fashion, Todt’s graphics, garment and textile work has received critical acclaim from CFDA, has been featured within publications such as Vogue Italia, New York Magazine and Womenswear Daily, and eventually made its way to Broadway stages and prominent off-Broadway venues such as The Public Theater and New York Theatre Workshop.
Most recently obtaining her MFA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Kae now combines her versatile entertainment career with extensive digital knowledge to bring multimedia approach to every aspect of marketing and design.
