Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm: Construction Documentation
Photography • Videography • Drone Operations • Interviews • Social Media • Stakeholder Communications
May 2025 to December 2027

Following a competitive tender process, MBP was appointed as the production partner for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, documenting the construction of one of the UK’s largest renewable energy projects from May 2025 through to December 2027. Since the beginning of the construction phase, our team has captured every major milestone, from offshore substation installation and export cable operations to monopile and transition piece installation, vessel mobilisation and offshore logistics.

Working across quaysides, CTVs, jack-up vessels and offshore construction assets, our role has been to create a comprehensive visual record of the project while supporting Inch Cape and principal contractors throughout the construction programme. We have produced photography and films for stakeholder engagement, conferences, social media and wider project communications.

The unpredictable nature of offshore construction requires complete flexibility, with filming frequently mobilised at short notice to align with changing weather windows, vessel schedules and installation programmes. Beyond documenting engineering milestones, we have captured the scale of the project through aerial cinematography, interviews with project personnel and cinematic footage of the specialist vessels delivering the work. Our footage has also been selected for inclusion in a National Geographic documentary on the Inch Cape project, demonstrating the quality and impact of the material captured.

The experience gained throughout this project gives MBP first-hand knowledge of the operational, logistical and safety requirements of offshore construction. It also ensures complete visual continuity across future phases of the project, enabling us to tell the ongoing story of Inch Cape with consistency, technical accuracy and cinematic quality.
